If you wish to see a sample of any of the fabrics on hand just let me know and I'll mail you a swatch for your inspection at no charge. Getting a sample is ALWAYS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED as it saves "surprises" when you open the box.
We do not cut any fabric smaller than one-half (1/2) a yard. Fabric is sold by the 1/2 yard increment such as 1/2, 1, 1 1/2, 2, etc.

We use this fabric occasionally for officers trousers and private purchase enlistedmen's trousers
where a slighty darker shade of sky blue is needed. Naturally it will also work for a darker shade
of Federal sky blue enlisted trousers and greatcoats. Additionally, this fabric also works well

FABRIC: BROWN POLISHED COTTON #PC427: This polished cotton is dark brown (like a fudge brown) and loomed in 100% pure cotton. Measures 58" wide unfolded or 29" when double-folded on the bolt. This fabric is imported (no, not from Pakistan :-) so I have only a limited amount on hand at the moment.
FABRIC: COTTON DRILL #CD348S: Temp. Out Of Stock
This excellent quality unbleached 8.oz cotton drill is
a excellent for use as liners in COATS and JACKETS (body and/or sleeves) and works very well for
facings and pockets in TROUSERS. It is a "softer" slightly more supple fabric than the cotton
drill listed below (#CD409). Measures 40" UNFOLDED (selvage to selvage) or 20" wide on the bolt.

FABRIC: COTTON DRILL #CD409H: This excellent quality unbleached 8.25 oz cotton drill is
a tightly woven fabric and measures 39 3/4" wide (selvage to selvage) on the bolt. This fabric
can be used in COATS, JACKETS and TROUSERS (liners, facings, pockets, etc) and because of it's
stiffer ("harder") finish than #CD348 above plus it's very tight weave, this drill would be just
the ticket for items that have to be tarred, painted or enameled such as HAVERSACKS and
KNAPSACKS. Also, because of it's very tight weave, this drill works very well for DOG TENTS. ONE-HALF

A NOTE ON THESE REMNANT PIECES: These remnant pieces are offered as a result of the numerous requests for wool remnants to use from patches and canteen covers to coat and trouser trim.
